上海市乐器行业协会
上海市乐器行业协会成立于2004年2月，是由本市从事于乐器生产制造、经营销售、科研教育等企业和院所等自愿组成的非赢利性社会团体。目前有团体会员单位40家，含有大中小各类企业，涵盖中西乐器中的几乎所有门类的产品。
协会的办会宗旨坚持遵守国家的法律法规，贯彻政府的方针政策，保护会员的合法权益，提高乐器行业的整体素质，沟通会员单位与政府社会的联系，反映企业的要求与愿望，促进行业经济的发展。
协会主要职能开展乐器行业的业务咨询，技术培训，协调行业关系，规范行业管理，开展会展的招商招展工作，新技术、新材料、新工艺的推广介绍活动，组织国内外同行间的交流与合作，履行政府部门委托的有关工作，提出有关政策制定的建议等。

Shanghai Musical Instrument Trade Association
Established in February, 2004, Shanghai Musical Instrument Trade Association is a nonprofit organization with voluntary participation of enterprises and institutions which are engaged in manufacture, distribution, scientific research and education for musical instrument industry. Currently, there are more than 40 members whose products cover all kind of chinese and western musical instruments.
The aim of SMITA is to observe the laws and regulations of the country, to carry out the guidelines and policies of the government, to protect the legal rights and interests of the members, and to improve the level of the industry. As a bridge linking up the government and enterprises, the association reflects the requirements and desires of enterprises, and is making great efforts to promote the development of the musical instrument industry in Shanghai.
Main functions and businesses of SMITA:
- Provide consulting service and technical training
- Coordinate the relations in the industry
- Standardize the industry activities
- Arrange recruitment of exhibitions
- Popularize new techniques, new materials and new arts and crafts
- Organize exchanges and cooperation between native and foreign enterprises
- Implement the relevant tasks of the government
- Advise the establishment of relevant policies
